Bissell BGSV696 2-in-1 Cordless Stick Vacuum – 22.2V, HEPA, 45 Min Runtime

Bissell BGSV696 Cordless 2-in-1 Commercial Vacuum with HEPA Filtration

The BGSV696 runs on a 22.2V lithium-ion battery and delivers up to 45 minutes of cord-free cleaning per charge. HEPA filtration captures particles down to 0.3 microns for clean air output in occupied spaces, and the unit converts between a full stick vacuum and a detachable handheld without tools. Two suction speeds — 11kPa high and 7kPa low — let operators trade power for runtime depending on the task.

BGSV696 Cordless Vacuum Performance Specs

• Battery: 22.2V lithium-ion — holds a full charge for up to 45 minutes of use
• Suction (high/low): 11kPa / 7kPa — high for deep cleaning, low extends runtime
• Filtration: HEPA — captures 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns for clean exhaust air
• Motor configuration: dual-motor — separate motors for floor brush and suction optimize both functions
• Dirt cup: 0.5-liter bagless — empties without bags or liner costs
• Charge time: 4 hours — fully recharged overnight for next-day shifts
• Agitator brush: revolving — lifts debris from hard floors and low-pile carpet

Where Cord-Free Vacuum Access Matters

Break rooms and reception areas often lack convenient outlet placement — the BGSV696 eliminates cord management entirely. Conference rooms benefit from quick turnovers between meetings without dragging power cords across open floors. Multi-story buildings with elevator lobbies and stairwells get consistent coverage without hunting for outlets at each level. At 45 minutes per charge, one battery cycle typically covers a full commercial floor in a standard office environment.

HEPA Filtration in Commercial Vacuums

HEPA certification requires capturing 99.97% of airborne particles at 0.3 microns — the size range that includes fine dust, pollen, and mold spores. In occupied commercial spaces like offices, healthcare waiting rooms, and schools, this means the vacuum does not redistribute fine particles into the breathing zone. The BGSV696’s HEPA filter is rated for this standard, making it suitable for facilities with air quality requirements or allergy-sensitive occupants.
