BGSS1481 Little Green Pro Spot Extractor — Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning
The Bissell BGSS1481 Little Green Pro combines suction, brushing action, and solution spray in one compact unit to pull embedded stains from carpet, upholstery, and auto interiors. A 5.7-amp motor drives full extraction rather than surface pickup, and the 3/4-gallon tank with a 20-foot cord runs longer between refills and outlet changes than many competing portable extractors. Where a walk-behind extractor is impractical, such as vehicles, stairs, and cubicles, the BGSS1481 handles complete extraction at portable scale rather than surface treatment, applying solution, agitating the fiber, and pulling the dirty water back out in the same pass that truck-mount systems use at larger scale.
BGSS1481 Extraction Power and Included Tools
- 5.7-amp motor — commercial-grade suction for full extraction, not just surface-level pickup
- 3/4-gallon tank — extends cleaning runs without constant refilling
- 20-foot power cord — reaches stairs, vehicles, and adjacent rooms from one outlet
- 6-inch stair tool — purpose-built for step risers and tight edges
- Brushing action with solution spray — agitates fibers and applies cleaner directly to the stain zone before extraction
- Balanced carry handle — one-handed transport between rooms and floors
BGSS1481 Applications and Environments
Auto detailers use the BGSS1481 on seats, floor mats, and trunk liners where full-size extractors cannot reach. Hotel housekeeping teams deploy it for spot cleaning between full room turnovers, handling a coffee spill on upholstery or a stain on a stair runner in minutes. Office cleaning crews keep one per floor for spill response on cubicle chairs and entry mats, and the 20-foot cord covers most single-room jobs without relocating. Restoration and janitorial teams add it to a cart for fast follow-up on stains that do not justify a full extractor, and the balanced carry handle makes it easy to move up and down stairs between rooms.
