The small shear pins are for Ariens Compact and Classic series snow blowers with an assured load limit to protect the gear box.
The large shear pins are made for Ariens Deluxe, platinum and professional series snow blowers. Engineered to break when a blockage prevents the auger shaft from rotating and protecting the machine’s gearcase from damage.
