Vermiculite is designed to be used as a cement base for pools with a vinyl liner. It makes it softer and less abrasive on your liner and softer for you and your guests feet. All you takes is a mix of sand, cement, and Vermiculite for a smoother, softer, but equally durable surface. Palmetto Vermiculite is a naturally inert mineral.
