O-Ring Polished Sweet Iron Twisted Snaffle Bit, 5″
The AJ Tack O-Ring Polished Sweet Iron Twisted Snaffle Bit gives riders the best of both worlds — the salivation-encouraging properties of sweet iron with the added communication of a twisted wire mouthpiece, all in a polished finish. A 5″ polished sweet iron twist wire mouthpiece with 3″ stainless steel O-rings delivers responsive, clear cues for horses in training and those in regular work who need a slightly more engaging contact than a smooth bit provides.
- 5″ Polished Sweet Iron Twist Wire Mouthpiece — Polished finish on sweet iron combines a clean, smooth feel with the material’s natural oxidation properties to encourage salivation and soft mouth contact over time
- Twisted Wire for Added Communication — The twist wire design adds mild tongue and bar pressure beyond a smooth mouthpiece for clearer, more responsive communication without being harsh
- 3″ Stainless Steel O-Rings — Corrosion-resistant 3″ O-rings provide direct, smooth rein contact with consistent side-to-side movement across western and English applications
- Sweet Iron Promotes Salivation — Sweet iron oxidizes naturally to encourage a wet, relaxed mouth and willing contact — a traditional, trainer-trusted approach to bit acceptance
- Versatile Across Disciplines — Suitable for training and everyday riding across western, English, trail, and all-around disciplines
- 5″ Width Fits Most Horses — Standard 5″ mouthpiece width fits most average-sized horses; measure corner to corner before ordering to confirm fit
